The William Monroe Trotter Collaborative supports the development of public leadership and the rigorous teaching of advocacy skills through classroom pedagogy, convenings, and field engagement. They conduct and employ applied research that supports advocacy, citizen activism, and impactful, non-partisan policy solutions to civil rights and social justice issues. At the same time, collaborating with nonprofits and policymakers to leverage the research and analytic capacity of Harvard faculty, students, and staff in service of grassroots organizations.
The Davis System:
- Coordinated logistics for a 150th Birthday Leadership Summit over a weekend, virtually and on campus
- Secured nationally recognized speakers to attend virtually and in person
- National and local marketing strategy to secure virtual and in-person attendees
- Created all graphics and signage for the event
