On behalf of the Boston Branch of the NAACP. We organized the ACT-SO College Summit, which was held during the 114th National NAACP Convention in Boston.

The Davis System was delighted that the Boston Branch has been entrusted us with producing the 46th annual Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) College Summit. This event aimed to provide high school students with an opportunity to explore colleges and universities in the Boston area that offer 4-year degree programs and graduate studies. ACT-SO is a prestigious national academic and cultural competition for high school students, spanning across 32 categories in STEM, the Arts, and Humanities. Participants in the National ACT-SO competition have already qualified at the local level. We were honored to have organizations, colleges ad universities take part in this remarkable opportunity to showcase our city and state.

The Davis System:

  • Led management and execution of summit, including pre and post planning

  • Coordinated with Boston and national NAACP leaders

  • Conducted outreach and confirmation of colleges, universities and resource organizations

  • Coordinate with all vendors and speakers
